Lesen judi sukan ‘ganjaran’ Kabinet kepada Berjaya

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Jun — Ahli Parlimen Shah Alam Khalid Samad hari ini mendakwa kerajaan pusat meluluskan lesen judi sukan kepada Kumpulan Berjaya sebagai “ganjaran” atas bantuan kewangan yang didakwa telah diberikan syarikat itu semasa pilihan raya.

“Saya percaya Perdana Menteri meluluskan lesen judi ini atas sebab terhutang budi dengan Kumpulan Berjaya yang telah menyokong Barisan Nasional (BN) di dalam 11 pilihan raya kecil yang lepas.

“Ini kerana banyak duit yang dibelanjakan sebahagian besar daripada duit itu besar kemungkinan datangnya daripada Kumpulan Berjaya dan sebagai ganjaran maka diberikan lesen ini,”
kata beliau ketika berucap pada majlis pelancaran Kempen Membantah Judi di pekarangan kompleks membeli-belah Sogo dekat sini.

Beliau yang juga anggota Biro Politik PAS mendakwa Najib memberikan lesen judi tersebut kepada Kumpulan Berjaya kerana terdesak apabila mengetahui keadaan kewangan negara tidak seperti yang dijangkakan.

“Keputusan memberikan lesen judi ini adalah satu keputusan mengejut yang dibuat Najib kerana ia tidak pernah dibincangkan dalam sidang Parlimen.

“Secara zahirnya jelas bahawa beliau terdesak apabila mengetahui keadaan kewangan negara tidak seperti yang dijangkakan.

“Oleh sebab itu beliau memberikan lesen judi ini kepada Kumpulan Berjaya dan saya percaya syarikat ini memperoleh keuntungan sebanyak RM250 juta hasil daripada pertaruhan bola sepak Piala Dunia tidak lama lagi,” katanya.

Pelancaran kempen tersebut adalah anjuran Gerakan Membantah Judi (GMJ) yang disertai 22 pertubuhan bukan kerajaan termasuk Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia, Persatuan Teras Perpaduan Melayu, Dewan Pemuda Masjid, Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia, Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam Semalaysia, Satu Nama, Jemaah Islah Malaysia dan Jamaiy.

Turut sertai ialah Pengerak Belia Tempatan MPK, Budayawan Bertindak, Seniman Paksi Rakyat, Persatuan Anak-anak Peneroka Felda, Nisa Malaysia, Persatuan Kebangsaan Islam Malaysia, Persatuan Dharma Sakyamuni, Relawan, Pusat Aduan Rakyat Kempas, Sekretariat Himpunan Ulama Rantau Asia, Dewan Pemuda Pusat dan terbaru Pertubuhan Anak Melayu Selangor Darul Ehsan Wilayah Persekutuan.

Ia dilancarkan oleh Pengerusi GMJ Azmi Abdul Hamid.

“Tindakan kerajaan ini merupakan penggadaian rakyat, hak rakyat, kepentingan rakyat demi kepentingan BN.

“Masyarakat sudah tenat dengan masalah judi, ramai yang terjebak dengan Ah Long mengapa mesti nak tambah lagi masalah?

“Yang akan untung hanya dua kumpulan iaitu tauke judi serta Ah Long akan juga dapat keuntungan besar dan mungkin yang BN turut akan memperoleh keuntungan kerana Kumpulan Berjaya akan terus memberikan sumbangan kepada BN,” kata Khalid.

Tambah Khalid, rakyat perlu membantah kelulusan lesen judi kerana ia akan memberikan kesan buruk dalam masyarakat.

“Rakyat perlu membantah kelulusan lesen judi ini kerana ia akan memberikan kesan yang amat buruk kepada masyarakat.

“Tindakan kerajaan ini akan mempertaruhkan masa depan rakyat dan juga negara,” katanya lagi. -TMI
